The larger bottle, for feeding a bed of vegetables or a patio of pots. Bottled and distributed by Hill Country Organics in Boerne under the Dakota Eco Organic name, it is a concentrate you dilute first.

By the label, it is a 3-2-1 food: nitrogen 3%, of which 0.5% is water insoluble, with phosphate (P2O5) at 2% and potash (K2O) at 1%. It is derived from protein hydrolysates of food and of fish, the fish stabilized with phosphoric acid, and from potassium sulfate. Mixed at the label's 2 to 4 ounces per gallon, 32 ounces makes 8 to 16 gallons of soil drench or foliar spray; in poor soil the label allows up to 8 ounces per gallon. Store it in the original container, and do not mix it with other fertilizers.

Potted herbs want only a little. Our rosemary guide, for potted herbs, feeds every 3 to 4 weeks outdoors and every six weeks indoors with liquid fertilizer at half strength (Minnesota).

From the caution panel: harmful if swallowed, so store it away from children, keep it out of eyes, cuts and sores, and wash up when you finish.
