For green branches just out of reach. The TeleCut's handles extend by up to 25 cm (about 10 inches), so you reach farther into a tree or shrub and get a longer lever on a thick branch. Gardena lists a maximum cut of 1.65 inches.

Its bypass blades glide past each other for a clean cut on fresh wood, and a non-stick coating cuts friction. The handles are aluminum with ErgoTec soft grips, a stop buffer softens each cut, and the whole lopper weighs 1320 grams.
