Gardena RollUp S Hose Box on a Ground Spike, 15 m Hose

For a garden without a handy wall: the RollUp S stands on a metal spike you screw into the ground with a mounting rod, right where the beds are. The box turns through 360 degrees on the spike, so the hose leaves in any direction.

Its 15 m hose (49.2 feet) locks at the length you pull out; a short tug releases it and RollControl winds it back in through a hose guide. Gardena lists UV and frost protection for year-round use. In the box: the hose box, a connecting hose, the system connectors and a sprayer with two spray jets.

A spot-mounted reel suits beds that want frequent light watering. University of Maryland Extension waters carrot rows lightly each day in dry weather until the plants are established.
