Gardena Balcony Water Timer with LCD Screen, Battery Powered

For pots on a balcony or patio that need watering while you are away. The timer connects to the faucet, the hose connects to its outlet, and you set the start time, the interval and the length of each watering with a rotary dial, a confirm button and an LCD screen.

It runs on batteries, and the control unit is weather-resistant and detachable. A Water Now setting gives water outside the schedule, for filling a can. When the battery runs low, the next cycle does not start. Gardena pairs it with its Micro-Drip System and an optional soil moisture sensor, each sold separately.

Pots are where a timer earns its place. Illinois Extension says plants in containers may need daily or even more frequent watering.
