Also called 'Muscat de Provence', this is a very nice French heirloom winter squash. Flattened, 5 to 10 lb fruits have a beautiful orange-brown color when fully ripe. Deep ridges and a low moisture, sweet flesh. Well known for lasting in storage throughout all of winter. The finest of the 'Cheese Wheel' squash/pumpkins for eating you will find, terrific for all your traditional pumpkin pies and breads. Untreated seed.
