Cimmaron is also known as Rouge D'Hiver, a red Romaine that has been around since the 18th century according to historians. The head is 10-12 inches tall with a deep red color. The center of the head is a creamy yellow-bronze color. The texture is crisp and yet tender, with a good flavor. Moderate heat tolerance. Very resistant to bolting. Untreated seed.
