Rosemary is wonderful to use on any number of meat dishes, a favorite around here on roast pork loin, sometimes used in a medicinal tea. Branches are traditionally strewn on a pathway to release its beautiful fragrance when walked on. A warm-climate perennial, evergreen plant with a bushy stem which can reach 6 feet/2m, expect growth in cooler climes to be much smaller. Has numerous branches covered with small, persistent linear, obtuse leaves, dark green and silvery below, with light blue flowers in apical spikes. Sometimes grown in a container to be brought in during winter--a traditional decorative plant during the holidays. Plant plenty as germination rates are normally relatively low for this herb. Untreated seed.
