Artichoke Seeds, Romanesco

Heirloom Italian variety well known for plants that produce good yields of very large and very flavorful bronze and purple artichokes. We grow this on our farm to sell both Artichokes for eating and mature "flowers". We can heartily recommend for both purposes. We made more money selling the flowers than the artichokes the last three years! Overwinters well in both mild climate like here in California and colder climates too. This is better for larger artichokes than the Chioggia variety though (ZCL01). A favorite of the folks in the Romagna region of Italy. Untreated seed.
