Excellent 'sugar loaf' variety with a head raised about 40cm., delicate light green leaves. The dense tight growth lend this variety to easy blanching, with the centers often naturally white. Known for its sweetness, this is considered one of the finest sugar loaf chicories in Europe. Grown on our farm, it is sweetly mild for a Chicory and very pretty with reasonable resistance to bolting. Untreated seed.
