The fruit of the Sandia pepper average 6.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width. It is one of the hotter long green New Mexico-type chile peppers (NUMEX), with a heat level ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 scovilles. This is a fine market chile from New Mexico and very popular in these parts. Untreated seed.
