Originating in Asia, this interesting little cucumber (botanically a melon) is a recently discovered Italian delicacy. The plants are short and squat and do not vine. The fruit produced is round with light and dark green variegated skin, and delicious, crisp, juicy, sweet flesh. Best eaten when no larger than the size of a baseball. Untreated seed.
