A rare heirloom from Italy also known as the "Beret of Piacenza". A terrific pumpkin/winter squash, with a beautiful grey-green, knobby skin. The flesh is yellow/orange, very firm, sweet, and nutty, with the fruit weighing in at 3 to 5 lbs each. Known not only for the great flavor, but also for exceptional storage capabilities. Untreated seed.
