Persian Basil is a 2015 All America Award winner bred by our supplier Terra Organics of California. It is similar to traditionally used Persian cuisine herbs, but newly bred for longer productivity before flowering. The flavor is lemony and spicy and pleasant. 2015 is the first time three organic herbs are AAS Winners. The plant size is large and vigor is strong. The leaf production is high. The excellent tasting green foliage, sturdy branches and large leaves make for a very good ornamental plant. Bees like the flowers when they do develop. Organic seed.
