A wonderful variety from Europe known for large roots and smooth flavor. Predating the use of potatoes in Europe, parsnips are used much the same, boiled, fried, roasted, and even fresh like carrots, and similar to potatoes can store well. It is still a tradition in some areas to have roasted Parsnip at Christmas. Untreated seed.
