This is the uncommon Moroccan type of Coriander that is used in North African cuisine and certain areas of Italy. We source it from our Italian supplier, check out the differences from the "normal" Cilantro grown ubiquitously across California and the Southwest for Mexican and other food. It also has an erect stem, 1-2 feet/30-70cm tall, branched at top, with numerous small white flowers in clusters. Tender leaves can be used fresh in salads as well as many prepared dishes, the seeds (which are much larger) are most commonly harvested for seasoning everything from wine to sausage to baking. Untreated seed.
