The 'violin' heirloom butternut of Italy, so named for its profile. A fine eating squash that is rare here in the US. Fine flesh is neither watery or overly dry, quite delicious. The wrinkled and ribbed fruits are about 4 lbs on the average and store well. Another fine offering for the market grower or homeowner looking for something special and unique. Untreated seed.
