Television is a fine heirloom Pea introduced in 1955 by Vilmorin Seed Co. It is noted particularly for extra sweet peas in the pods which are set two together at a time. It is and was particularly used in home gardens and market growers operations. The plants are 36-40inches tall according to our Italian supplier. with pea pods that are 3.5-4inches long filled with 9-10 fine peas. These can either be bushes or supported with stakes or other means. Television has not been offered for many years here in North America, but we are re-offering this fine variety. Italian seed.
