Onion Seeds, Shimonita

Here's a delightful change from the ordinary. This unique Japanese onion has a straight 'bulb' and stem like a bunching onion, but grows much larger and with heavier leaves, resembling a small leek. To top it off, the flavor is wonderfully sweet and full. Often considered a '1-year' onion due to the traditional fall-to-fall season, but can be spring planted. Untreated seed.
