Lincoln is a "half-tall" bush garden pea meaning that it can either be staked or not depending on conditions and your desires. The plants are typically about 27-30inches high, the pods 3-3.5 inches long with high quality small peas usually 9-10 per pod. Very tender and wonderfully sweet. Italian seed. This heirloom pea intended for home gardeners and market growers was originally released in 1908 and is still in use. Some in Europe call it "Greenfeast", perhaps because of its classic flavor. Untreated seed.
