Leek Seeds, Lungo della Riviera
Riviera is a terrific Mediterranean/Italian variety. Known for their long base, they are often grown for baby leeks and bundled much like bunching onions. With the soil mounded around the base to create long white stems, this is a nicely flavored leek. Fairly early, not frost tolerant, but suitable for growing out to full-sized stems, and known to 'stand' well in the field, Riviera can produce a usable crop over a long season. Untreated seed.
