Montpellier is an Italian Iceberg lettuce variety Ice Queen got its name due to its good heat tolerance and slowness to bolt. An heirloom iceberg/crisphead lettuce with wonderful crisp and sweet leaves far superior to most of this class and rated by many as the best all-around iceberg available. Forget the flat-tasting supermarket varieties. Untreated seed.
