A terrific half-length(6in) carrot, cylindrical, with a thin collar, highly prized for its earliness and its exquisitely smooth roots, tender flesh with no heart, easily preserved. Nantes makes for a great juicing carrot. Prefers loose, soft, deep, rich soil. Untreated seed.
