A premium Treviso chicory selection from Italy known for its exceptionally deep coloring. Early production of deep red, crisp leaves, in elongated heads. Quick production makes it more suitable for both spring and fall production, and for baby leaf use. As with any radicchio cold weather will ensure best coloring. Great chopped for fresh/salad use, but try it braised for something truly special. Untreated seed.
