Watermelon Seeds, Cream of Saskatechewan

Cream of Saskatechewan is a small white fleshed watermelon developed for short season areas. A bonus to the breeding is that this variety is rather tolerant of cool conditions. I once picked this melon on Thanksgiving Day! Given our cool climate in the fall this was pretty amazing. The plants are a smaller than many watermelons and the flavor is pleasant, you may really like this melon to eat. It is easy to grow, requiring less fertilizer than larger plant varieties. This melon is open pollinated and will be a popular heirloom for years to come.
