Heirloom variety from the mid-1880's. Very ornamental and makes a very good cornmeal and even can be picked young for fresh corn-on-the-cob. Often dried for use as a delightful popcorn. Ears are large from 8" to 12" in length. 9' to 12' plants with 1 to 2 ears per plant. Untreated seed.
