Maturity, adaptability, and disease tolerance may vary under the widely different conditions that exist here in the US, let alone throughout the world. Our liability is limited in amount to the purchase price of the product and we shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages, nor for any loss or injury due to improper usage. Any claim must be reported within a reasonable period after discovery (30 days).
Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not normally refundable, except in cases such as an error or discrepancy on our part.
Shipping Policy:
We make every attempt to ship within 2 business days after receipt of your order. For domestic (US) orders, most orders ship USPS Priority Mail, although we may use other services such as UPS Ground for bulky orders, based on our discretion.
International orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International. BE ADVISED THAT THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY IMPORT DUTIES, REGULATIONS, OR RESTRICTIONS AND SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR LOCAL AUTHORITIES BEFORE PLACING ANY INTERNATIONAL ORDER. We generally will not accept international orders containing bulk seed of 500 grams or more, nor will we be able to provide a Phytosanitary Certificate.
If you have any special shipping needs, it is best to contact us before placing your order.
In the event of a backorder or discontinued item, we reserve the right to hold your order until complete, ship as is and ship the remaining items later, or substitute a similar item.
See our FAQ section for current shipping rates.

Since all 2-day shipments are 'dimensionalized', larger and bulky items may have additional shipping charges added. » When will I receive my order? We ship most orders within 2 business days of receipt of the order. Most folks in the US should have their order in approximately one week. » How do you ship to overseas US (AK, HI, PR, VI)?Alaska, Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands are all treated as standard US destinations, except for some bulky items which are not available because of the high cost. » Do you offer Heirloom Seed? Many of our offerings are older heritage or heirloom varieties. There is no universally accepted definition for 'heirloom' but our descriptions will often identify these older jewels. Heirlooms are older varieties of open pollinated seed, but not all open pollinated varieties are heirlooms (older strains). » What does TREATED or UNTREATED mean?Treated seed is dusted with USDA approved chemical to aid germination. Untreated seed can be more difficult to germinate if the growing conditions are not optimal. » Do you sell any GMO seed? No. GMO (genetically modified organism) seed is normally only available for large-scale commercial varieties due to the high cost of production. Also, we have signed the 'Safe Seed Pledge' and will not knowingly sell any GMO products. See 'Safe Seed Pledge' link near the bottom of the left menu. » Can you supply a certification for organic growers?Yes and no. We don't produce our seed, but source it from dozens of growers in the US and Europe. We verify the certification for every organic variety we source, and can provide a letter verifying that the contents for a specific order are all certified organic or untreated. Simply request this verification letter in the Order Notes during checkout, and we'll be happy to include it with your order.
