Squash da Pergola Lagenaria (Cucuzzi)

[ZS13] (Sicilian Snake, Cucuzzi) Actually a 'zucchetta', and botanically an edible gourd, as the fruit are harvested and eaten while still immature, from 6 to 18 inches long and still quite narrow, about 1-2 inches. This is the classic heirloom cucuzzi highly prized in Southern Italy. Not bothered by squash borers. This original strain has become one of our best sellers. Huge vines are very prolific. Can be grown out and dried for long, fantastically contorted gourds. UNTREATED.
