Turnip Norfolk Red

Large Heirloom turnip with deeply cut leaf and a red collar. Increasingly harder to come by, it has been a market staple in England and parts of the Northeastern U.S. for generations. Many consider this variety more of a 'Swede' turnip (rutabaga) and use it as such. Traces back at least to the 18th Century. UNTREATED
