Our mushroom spawn is brought in from the highest quality stock of Europe where mushrooms are more than a mere hobby. All of our packages are 100 grams of pure spore on inert carrier seed. (MS02) MUSHROOM GOLDEN (Pleurotus cornucopie)
Famous 'golden mushroom' highly prized by gourmet and French chefs. Can be sown onto very clean wheat straw, then placed in high shade covered by a fine layer of organic soil. Our favorite!

(MS03) MUSHROOM BUTTON (Agricus campestris)
The ever versatile button mushroom. This is a very nice strain selected for productivity as well as size and flavor. These firm, sweet mushrooms are delicious raw, sliced into salads, or served with vegetable dip. They're also good sauteed in butter or as a pizza topping.

(MS04) MUSHROOM OYSTER (Pleurotus ostreatus)
Select European strain of the famous 'oyster' mushroom, with large, ruffled production. Greyish white 'trumpets' are highly prized in the specialty markets and favored by chefs worldwide. Delicious, protein-rich oyster mushrooms are great for chowder and stir-fries.

(MS05) MUSHROOM KING OYSTER (Pleurotus eryngii)
Also known as the 'King Trumpet'. This mushroom can be found in the wild growing on the buried roots of hardwood trees. This stout, thickly fleshed mushroom is very popular in Europe and Japan. It may grow quite large, up to 7 inches long but is generally harvested at a smaller size. It is the only Oyster species that ships well and has an extended shelf-life.

(MS01) MUSHROOM POPLAR (Pholiota aegerita)
Italian delicacy known as 'Pioppo' or 'Under the Poplar Tree'. Can be sown onto straw or broadleaf tree logs. Produces for about 3 years. Very nice flavor and texture.
