Leek Seeds, American Flag

(Broad London) This leek has been known as the standard for many years for home garden and market. 'Flag' refers to its sword like foliage top. Stems average 1-1/2" in diameter by 8 to 10" high, well-blanched from the base upward. Has a delicate onion-like flavor. We have grown this leek on our farm for "baby leeks" for years and it does well for that purpose as well as "basic" regular leek production. On our farm it is quite frost hardy. Untreated seed.
