Rutabaga Seeds, Norfolk Red Turnip
Called a Turnip, this is actually a Rutabaga like some other varieties. Large Heirloom turnip with deeply cut leaf and a red collar. Increasingly harder to come by, it has been a market staple in England and parts of the Northeastern U.S. for generations. This is a great dual purpose turnip in that it is delicious on the table, but its rugged characteristics make it a great forage crop, as well. Traces back to the 18th Century. Italian seed. Untreated seed.
