(PP59) PEPPER BARKER HOT CHILI
(75 days) A local pepper selected from a native New Mexico chile years ago. Ripens red and though not as uniform as most improved varieties it has a pungeant heat that makes it still the most popular heirloom chile of New Mexico, and the hottest. Pods are 5 to 7 inches in length to 1 to 2 inches in width. Heat level ranging from 15-30,000 scovilles. Ripens red from green.

(75 days) Sandia pods average 6.64 inches in length and 1.58 inches in width. It is one of the hotter long green New Mexico-type peppers, with a heat level ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 scovilles. This is a fine market chile from New Mexico and very popular.
