Broccoli Raab / Rapini Seed

Rapini is essentially a turnip grown for the tender blossom shoots, rather than the roots. Just as for turnips, they are relatively easy to grow, given good conditions. Soil should be loose, fertile, and kept evenly moist. direct sow in early spring for a spring crop or late summer for fall 1/4 in deep in rows 12-18 in apart. Thin to 6 to 8 in appart. For best germination soil should be cool to warm (50-80F) and kept moist.

BR07 - Broccolo Spigariello
Very well known in Europe, this special broccoli has small, narrow and bushy leaves on a medium sized plant. Has many small tops that will re-sprout when cut. Leaves are the top choice here and used much like spinach, often in soups and stews. Very tasty. UNTREATED $2.59 View Details
