MUSTARD GREENS SEED MUSTARD GREENS SEED

(500 seeds avg. per gram) A wonderful green with a misunderstood history. Though popular in American cooking it is originally from Asia and was extremely popular in Europe for several hundred years. In a 14th century Italian cookbook there are as many recipes for mustard greens as those for any other vegetable, yet mustard greens are virtually unknown in Italy or most of Europe today.

(MU03) MUSTARD GREENS FLORIDA BROADLEAF

(50 days) Large, green, oval leaves with distinct whitish midrib. Known as the best flavored American strain for cooked greens. Definitely the most popular in the Southern United States and its southern-style cooking. 5 grams approx 3000 seeds UNTREATED - $2.39
Quantity:

(MU02) MUSTARD GREENS SOUTHERN GIANT CURLED (MU02) MUSTARD GREENS SOUTHERN GIANT CURLED

(42 days) This is the true curled leaf variety of mustard so popular in the South. Leaves are large and wide, bright green with very curly edges. Although somewhat spreading, the plant is quite upright in growth. Enjoy raw, or cooked as greens like spinach. 5 grams approx 3000 seeds UNTREATED - $2.39

(MU01) MUSTARD GREENS TENDERGREEN (MU01) MUSTARD GREENS TENDERGREEN

(40 days) Also known as 'Spinach Mustard'. Leaves are mild flavored, smooth and dark green. Usually cooked as greens but can be used raw in salads like spinach. As easy to grow as it is rich in vitamins and minerals. 3,500 seeds TREATED - $2.39

(MU04) MUSTARD GREENS JAPANESE RED GIANT ORGANIC (MU04) MUSTARD GREENS JAPANESE RED GIANT ORGANIC

(45 days) Extra large, highly decorative leaves of deepest red with a medium mustard flavor. Sow from spring onwards to use as 'cut and come again' or in summer/autumn to overwinter. Great for salads and stir-fries. 2 grams approx 1200 seeds - $2.59
Quantity:

(AN11) MUSTARD GREENS JAPANESE MIZUNA ORGANIC (AN11) MUSTARD GREENS JAPANESE MIZUNA ORGANIC

(40 days) Extremely mild, yet definitely a mustard flavor. Tastes great in salads even for those that dislike the spicyness often associated with raw mustards. Also an excellent cooking green. 6 grams approx 3600 seeds - $2.59
Quantity:

(AN02) 'SPINACH' MUSTARD KOMATSUNA (AN02) 'SPINACH' MUSTARD KOMATSUNA

(35 to 40 days) A succulent and tender variety of Oriental Mustard Spinach whose leaves become hotter to the taste as the plants mature and flower. Actually related to cabbages and broccoli (rather than a true spinach), it is used in the same way as spinach or pak choi. Hardy annual. 2 grams approx 1200 seeds - $2.39
Quantity:

(MU05) MUSTARD TOKYO BEKANA (MU05) MUSTARD TOKYO BEKANA

Recommended for thick sowing and harvest of deliciously sweet, tender-crispy, baby leaves that add a whole new dimension to salad mixes. Bright, light green leaves are curly and ruffled. Re-grows for multiple cuttings. Excellent for baby leaf year-round with winter protection. At full size, tender ruffled leaves on narrow white petioles can be bunched. 3 grams approx 1800 seeds UNTREATED - $2.39
