Vegetable Soybean - Most pods ripen at once and should harvested by clipping plants at base when bean pods are plump and just begin to lose their green color. Beans begin to lose their sugary flavor 2 days after picked. Strip pods, rinse, and steam or boil for 5-10 minutes then use or freeze.Beans germinate best at 77 degrees F.

LENTIL BEAN SEED LENTIL BEAN SEED

One of the most ancient cultivated foods, lentil belongs to protein rich legumes. Lentils are grown in most European countries, Asia, North Africa and North America. Small lentils are more flavourful and preferred in the Middle East. The standard Large lentils are grown in North America but lack the intensity of flavor of their small cousins. In the Middle East, lentils are simply boiled with chopped onions, minced garlic, salt, pepper and cumin. It is serves like a thick soup laced with olive oil. They grow in quite dry conditions and make a great cover crop or green manure that helps build up nitrogen levels and also helps to prevent rampant weed invasion. Grow as you would Dwarf Bush Beans & Peas. Average (2,000 or more seeds per ounce)
